August 29-30 Twin Tiers Classic Open Horse Show Series held at Chemung County Fairgrounds, Horseheads, NY (right off I-86) - our shows are a full show on both days; we have a large selection of classes with daily high points awarded (High points in the following divisions - Walk/Trot 10 & Under, Walk/Trot 11-18, Adult Walk/Trot, Youth 13 & Under Enlgish, Youth 14-18 English, Adult English, Green Horse English, Open English, Youth 13 & Under Western, Youth 14-18 Western, Adult Western, Green Horse Western, Open Western). HITS Saugerties Series. Website.
The HITS Saugerties Show Series welcomes equestrians for eight weeks of shows, $3 million in prize money, bi-weekly Grand Prix, qualifiers for the HITS Championship, USEF Premier and National-Rated Hunters, 5* and  6* Jumpers, and the new LEGEND VIP Club. The majestic Catskill Mountains provide a sweeping backdrop to this exciting series, which has made its home at HITS-on-the-Hudson since 2004. In the fall, the HITS Championship caps the HITS Saugerties Series with hunter and jumper finals and the Saugerties $1 Million Grand Prix, now an FEI CSI5* class. The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has chosen HITS-on-the-Hudson as the proposed location for the 2017 FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC) hosting the disciplines of jumping, dressage, and para-dressage, pending approval from the FEI.
